So I got to about 70% of the book and I had to stop and write a review. This book/series is awful. Reads juvenile, with characters I can't feel anything for. The main character is a girl described to be about 90 lbs. who guys can't help but fall in love with...Riiiight. I'm sure they fantasize about carrying her in their pockets! Hehe... The love interest switched from the first book and I'm scratching my head in wonder -- whaaa? The mother is mentally challenged because everything she says sounds childish and just plain dumb... I don't know...The supposedly bad guy (also supposedly her father) is supposed to be a psycho, but he seems more cartoon-ish. King Solomon walking around with a crown on his head? Really? I just can't....I don't even know what else to say because the 5-star rating here must have been given by 12-year olds. It's all I can think.This writer has a few glimpses of genius in her writing style. She can do so much better. I just don't understand justifying this load of...well, you can guess what I'm thinking...
Loved catching up with these characters in the second book of this series. The story continues to move at a fast pace and in a natural series of events. It’s action packed and written with enough description to paint a vivid picture but not too much to bog the reader down. Again, this is a smart and clever read and you can tell that the author did a lot of research to so thoroughly explain the medical crisis at the heart of this book. Excited for the next book, Redeemed.
This series is so hard to put down! I love the vibrancy of the characters and how relatable they are. I fell in love with Raef and am excited to see how things pan out for him in the next book. I’m so happy to see Ruby happy at the end of this book. I can’t wait to dive into the next. This is a fabulous read!
Oft times the second book in a series is not as strong as the first. Not so with Suppressed. The plot twists just keep on coming and the characters continue to be believable. Love this book as much as the first.
I'm always worried when I love the first book in a series. What if the rest of the series goes downhill. That wasn't the case here at all! I loved book 2. I read it in 3 days and can't wait to get days my hands on Redeemed!
This second book moves the story forward with plot twists, revelations, and humor. Love Wesley! Sam and Ruby follow a trail that might lead to the end of the plague. Fast paced, page turning, and just plain goodm
I couldn’t put this one down either. Now the third one just needs to come out.
Suppressed is a great book two. I find a second in a three series is often disappointing to the story line, it ends poorly and I am not sure if I want the third one or not. NOT TRUE on this one. The story continues to move right along and the need for book three to finish is imperative! A thrilling and engaging story!!
